These terms govern your use of ToyVault at https://toyvault.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. About ToyVault
ToyVault is a community catalog of vintage toys, with optional collection tracking and a peer-to-peer Marketplace. More about the service is on our About page.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your login details and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or harm the community.
4. The public database
Catalog content is for information and community use. It may include official releases, variants, bootlegs, and user contributions. We do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free.
Catalog market values are based on matching eBay sold listings (a two-year average, or the last known catalog figure when there are not enough recent sales). They are reference figures, not appraisals or offers to buy or sell. See How catalog values work.
5. Your content
You must have the right to submit what you upload, and it must not violate the law or third-party rights. By submitting content to the public catalog, you grant ToyVault a licence to use it to operate the database.
Your collection is private by default. If you make your profile public, other members may see it. Marketplace listings are visible to anyone who can view the Marketplace. Moderators may reject or remove unsuitable contributions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully or to harass others
- Access accounts or systems without permission
- Scrape or disrupt the service
- Upload malware, spam, or infringing content
- Post misleading Marketplace listings, including selling reproductions or bootlegs as official items
7. Marketplace
Members can list catalog items and message each other. ToyVault is not a party to any sale, does not process payments, and does not handle shipping.
You are responsible for your listings, for complying with consumer and tax law, and for resolving disputes with other users. You must have the right to sell what you list. We may remove listings or restrict Marketplace access for abuse or fraud.
8. Intellectual property
The ToyVault name and site design are ours. Toy names, images, and trademarks remain the property of their owners. ToyVault is an independent collector project and is not affiliated with toy manufacturers unless we say otherwise.
9. Privacy
How we process personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
10. Availability
The service is provided "as is". We may change or discontinue features. Use of the service is at your own risk, to the fullest extent permitted by law. EU consumers keep their mandatory statutory rights.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToyVault is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, email info@toyvault.app. We may restrict access if you breach these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. EU consumers may also bring proceedings in their country of residence where mandatory law allows.
