Inside Sea Squirm, Max is teleported right in front of a Sea Serpent. The Serpent immediately attacks Max, but Max finds a bone under the water and clobbers the snake with it. Suddenly, the guardian of the watery graveyard, Krillor appears and attacks Max. Using his quick thinking, Max throws the bone he used to defeat the Sea Serpent into Krillor's mouth, keeping the beast busy while Max rushes over to a treasure box. However, before he is able to get any of the gold, he is teleported away.
